Frequency Culture:
At Frequency, we prioritise a culture centred on collaboration and a commitment to ethical and environmental practices. Inclusivity is important to us. There is no noticeable hierarchy within our workplace environment. We work in open-plan offices where there are no separate offices for partners or senior team members. We believe in the power of genuine, in-person collaboration. Our office-first culture is a cornerstone of how we work. Being physically present enables stronger relationships, supports accelerated learning, and fosters shared energy that drives teamwork and innovation. Our default is working together in the office—where conversations flow naturally, and we can tackle challenges collaboratively.
We set the bar high and are driven by a culture of excellence. We embrace high standards and high performance, with a shared commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes in everything we do. Our team members take pride in going above and beyond, striving for excellence individually and collectively. Our dedication to creating a supportive professional culture is also reflected in our forums, social club initiatives, and annual team retreat, The Summit, all with the intention of bringing our teams together.
At the heart of our company is our kaupapa, Te Whare Frequency, guiding the essence of who we are. This kaupapa forms the bedrock for our core values, serving as a compass for our decision-making and collective responsibility.
Whanaungatanga – Building Relationships | The art of nurturing genuine relationships, embodying trust, mutual respect, and interconnectedness with clients, colleagues, and communities.
Oranga Tangata - Wellbeing of the People | A guiding principle that reflects Frequency’s dedication to the holistic wellbeing of their people. It encompasses physical, mental, and emotional health, fostering an environment where the Frequency whānau can thrive.
Mana Taurite – Equity | This concept embodies fairness and justice, ensuring equal opportunities and celebrating diversity.
Tiaki Taiao – Environmental Stewardship | This reflects Frequency’s responsibility to protect and preserve the natural world. It highlights our dedication to sustainable practices and environmental conservation.
Whai Rawa – Value Exchange | Translated literally, whai rawa is to pursue prosperity. Frequency has adopted this concept because it signifies a commitment beyond mere commercial transactions and enrichment. It emphasises the depth of value exchange, focusing on enriching lives and fostering mutually beneficial interactions with stakeholders.
