You may be familiar with MYOB's expertise in accounting, but we actually go way beyond that. In evolving to become an innovative business management platform, we set out to challenge the way business is done – and today we help customers run all their critical business workflows through one, future-ready and flexible platform.
We're always on the hunt for those who bring a different perspective, diversity of thought and the drive to make our culture even better. Take your career to new heights at MYOB.
The Future Makers Academy (FMA) is MYOB’s graduate program, designed to bring together talented individuals from diverse backgrounds to build great software.
It provides a strong foundation for those launching their software development careers. Our graduates—known as Protégés—are supported by a Learning Buddy and Mentor, guiding them through their journey to becoming an Associate Developer.
FMA is more than just writing code. It’s about embracing a growth mindset, developing teamwork skills, adding to our culture, and most importantly—having a blast while learning.
Our recruitment process is simple and is an opportunity for us to get to know you while you can get to know us! It's all about bringing your whole self to the process.
Our application process may involve the following:
Your journey kicks off with O-Week, where you officially start as a permanent MYOB employee in late January. From day one, you’ll be paired with a Mentor and Learning Buddy who’ll support you throughout your time in the program.
First up is Acceleration—an immersive learning experience designed to help you explore your strengths, build technical and soft skills, and fast-track your development. With plenty of support along the way, this phase sets you up for success heading into rotations.
You move intorotations, where you’ll apply what you’ve learned in real teams, work on exciting projects, and collaborate with different people across the business.
Beyond your rotations, there are plenty of ways to get involved—whether it’s through tech communities, initiatives, or passion projects, you’ll have opportunities to shape your experience and make an impact.
By the end of the program, you’ll be ready to graduate as an Associate Developer, equipped with the skills, experience, and confidence to take the next step in your career.
