Government & Public Service
Join our large, diverse and highly-experienced workforce where you will make a difference to the people and communities of Queensland.
The people, everyone is so kind and supportive and knowledgeable.
Flexible work hours and location.
High diversity and effective team chemistry, everyone respects one another and always loves to help out, especially the new starters.
Workplace flexibility, a good combination of work and career development opportunities.
Lovely and supportive manager. My fellow graduates are brilliant.
The bureaucratic nature of Government... our expertise is often dismissed and the workload and expectations indicate that there is a lack of understanding of the time and technical skill required to do our jobs.
Can get extremely busy.
Work is very specialised, with limited opportunities to learn about what others in the department are doing. Also lack of training and development opportunities.
Occasionally can be let down by the team.
The lack of resources can mean processes are a little slow and outdated.
