Gender Equality at Ausenco

Diversity and inclusion have always been essential elements of what defines us: they’re ingrained in our core values, and they help us challenge what’s possible and find a better way.

We believe diversity contributes to the achievement of our strategic objectives. Diversity helps us attract skilled people and build a team that mirrors our local communities.

At Ausenco, diversity includes level of education, skills and training, LGBTQ+, religion, race, ethnicity, language, gender, individual expression, disability, age, and all other types of diversity.

Our global Fair Treatment Policy ensures our workplace is free from bullying, discrimination, and harassment. We provide a respectful environment with equal access to opportunities for all employees, where individuals can bring their authentic selves to work and contribute openly and honestly.

Diversity & Inclusion Committees

91% of our employees participated in our last global D&I survey. We used that feedback to commit to keep evolving our D&I culture through clear goals and behaviours.

In 2020, we created the Global Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Committee, with a team representing our different geographies, businesses and experiences who raise D&I issues, work together to develop strategy, propose actions and measure our progress. In 2021, we established regional committees to deepen our support in North America, South America and APAC/Africa.

We use a global gender pay gap tool to assess any significant gaps and produce a Gender Equity Report with actions to address unsupported disparities. In our 2023 review, we found our salaries were largely even, making 27 corrections among our 3000+ employees, confirming no systemic gender pay gap.
