Our Corporate Finance team is the highest performing of its kind in New Zealand. In fact, we have been the top-ranked company by volume of transactions since 2005 (Thompson Reuters).

We help shareholders and executives find value by providing mergers and acquisitions advice, financial-focused strategic advice, modelling services, business and intangible asset valuations and general corporate finance advice. Our work includes identifying targets for acquisition, raising business capital, valuing companies or intangible assets, assisting with executive incentive plans, assisting in deals, negotiating strategies, providing advice on dividend policy or capital structure and much more.

We aim to continue taking the top spot for a long time yet, though we can only do that by working as a solid unit. As a part of the Corporate Finance team, youโ€™ll have the support, advice and structure you need to start your post-university career in the best way possible.

If you are looking for a Summer Internship or Graduate role, this is what you are likely to have studied:

  • Bachelor degree with Finance, Economics or Accounting majors
  • Bachelor of Laws conjoints
  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science (with majors in mathematics or statistics) conjoint with finance or accounting

To hit the ground running, you will ideally have done some papers in accounting, as the ability to analyse financial statements is a core skill.

Does this sound like the perfect fit for you? Submit your application now!

Please ensure you have your CV and academic transcript ready. In the application form for this role, we will also ask you to let us know if you would consider other roles, once you have filled that part out we'll take care of the rest so no need to apply more than once.
